As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking a UI / UX Designer to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, ON.

As a UI / UX Designer, you will shape the future of Brock Solutions’ customer interface by creating compelling, effective, and innovative user experiences across all software-based customer touch points. All candidates under consideration must be able to present a comprehensive portfolio.

Duties Include:

• Envision and design the user experience for new products and feature enhancements
• Collaborate with teams to define customer needs and application screen flows for web, mobile, and desktop platforms
• Construct working prototypes, page designs, graphics, and mock-ups to support development of client projects
• Define analytics requirements to help monitor the customer user experience and use the metrics to drive suggestions for improvement
• Collaborate with the internal software teams to ensure applications are programmed to meet design guidelines and meet both the client needs and technical constraints/requirements
• Participate in the establishment and documentation of standards for the user experience

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in application UI design
• Up to date knowledge on new trends in UI and accessibility design
• Strong knowledge of web based technologies (HTML5, Sass, Less, CSS3, Bootstrap)
• Experience with one or more prototyping and graphics tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Knowledge of user experience testing and analysis
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate and influence effectively across all levels of an organization
• Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage complex projects in a timely manner
• Be comfortable interacting with client managers
• Degree or Certifications in Usability, Human Factors, Computer Science, Systems Design, or related discipline
